About Saif Mahmood

Dr Saif Mahmood is an Advocate of the Supreme Court of India and an International lawyer, strategy advisor and legal scholar with more than two decades of a rich and diverse experience. He is Chief Legal Counsel with the London-based Zone Capital Advisors and Joint Managing Partner with the cross jurisdictional Legal and Business Consultancy CMI & Co. In the year 2000, he founded the full service Indian law firm Amicus Juris.

Holding a doctorate in law with specialization in comparative legal systems and a prestigious United Nations Certification in Alternate Dispute Resolution (ADR), he frequently appears before various Indian Courts and international and domestic arbitral tribunals. He has handled cases, alongside barristers and lawyers, in the High Court of Justice of England and Wales and the Dubai courts. A Visiting Scholar in Law at the University of Oxford (2022) and a well-known author and public speaker, he has had the rare honour of being cited by the Supreme Court of India. He is also Visiting Fellow in Law at Asia’s largest private University, Amity University, India.
